Veldt Schools and Leadership Camps

All the activities and challenges is presented in and around our 64ha private nature conservancy. The Training Head Office is situated in the Sanderson House in Peebles Valley outside White River. The Bush Camp will host most of the activities and is nestled in a Forest called Bush Camp Ego.

At Milites Dei our Veldt Schools and Leadership Camps assist children amongst others to:

  • Reach a consensus while still holding true to their beliefs

The Training Head Office is situated in the Sanderson House in Peebles Valley outside White River. The Bush Camp will host certain of the courses and is nestled in a forest called Base Camp Ego.

One of the many statues found in South Africa was erected just outside the training venue. The statue of Jock of the Bushveld is nestled on a hill with a view of the Legogote Mountain ranges and offers breathe taking views of the surrounding flora and fauna. Jock of the Bushveld accompanied his owner, Sir. Percy Fitzpatrick when he visited the Sanderson family. Sir Percy wrote some chapters of his famous books in the Sanderson House.

For candidates from Gauteng or other areas of SA, Milites Dei is conveniently situated a mere 15 minutes drive from the Kruger National Park, 30 minutes from Nelspruit, 10 minutes from White River, 20 minutes from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and close to many of the Lowveld’s attractions. Pick-ups from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and road transfers from Pretoria or Johannesburg can be arranged.

Students can combine the classes by afterwards or before the classes commence do sightseeing in our area such as God’s Window, Kruger Park, Sudwana Caves, etc.
